I spent a few nights in Iwokrama and I am totally in awe of the beauty of this part of Guyana. The wonderful history and culture of the Makushi people, the amazing wildlife and flora and the beautiful and majestic Essequibo river. Seeing the howler monkeys and the black caiman was exciting but I am just realizing just how much more there is... Your website brings it all back as I am sitting back here in Canada!

Dear Graham! Your website is amazing. I really enjoyed it and it gave me a lot of inspiration so far. I have been living in Guyana for 2 years, and, hope I will be coming back in the next 3 weeks. And this is really exiting, since to my opinion it is one of the most beautiful countries in the world! Thank you very much. All the best for future development and new projects!!! I wil recommend your site to all my friends. Best wishes Mayya

Fantastic site Graham! - Brings up so many memories and longing to return to this magical land. I have been living/working a lot in Suriname and, with a new Brazil-Suri road being proposed, would like to hear from anyone, especially local people, on experiences/lessons/impacts from the Lethem-GT road to share with organizations and local communities in Suriname.

Why is it that so many come to the Rupununi for a few weeks and never leave? I think this web site gives a clue to the answer. The wide open spaces and the wonderful camaraderie of the people are just a few of its lures. Can't wait to get back. Think I have been bitten by the bug. salvador
